We all like our Facebook friends, but do we like them enough to have an ink needle cutting through our flesh a thousand times, over and over again, until their faces are permanently etched into our skin, wonders Tej Kohli.

No, right? But there are some exceptions who apparently loves them so much or perhaps, desperate for seeking the attention of online social circuit that goes along with doing something stupid related to Facebook, including naming the first born child “Like”, or more recently, getting a sleeve tattoo featuring the photos of her 152 Facebook friends.

A You Tube user named Suzyj87, recently uploaded a video showing the process of getting the photos of her Facebook friends inked on her arm.

You may be wondering whether Suzyj87 is close friends with those 152 people--or if those faces are just ones and zeroes on a Web site. On her YouTube page, Suzyj87 explains:

"Of course I gave it a lot of thought. These are not all my friends. Just the people I care most about. I got their permission and they were very proud to be on it. To me it represents who I am right now and the time we live in. And of course I love the looks of it."

Fair enough! And there is no denying that the patchwork style of her tattoo looks pretty good.

Photo Sharing on Twitter by Next Week - Reports

Following the league of other social networking sites, micro blogging site Twitter could be planning to introduce its own photo upload and sharing service this week. Tej Kohli found many reports circulating on the web about the same.

According to various reports, the company's CEO, Dick Costolo, is expected to make the announcement at the D9 conference in California.

The service is expected to be based on twimg.com, acquired by Twitter last July. It would compete with the likes of Twitpic, Instagram and Yfrog, and could be monetized by the means of advertising.

There's a strong chance, however, that the step could offend third party developers - already unhappy about the way Twitter has encroached on their space.

Back in March, platform lead Ryan Sarver warned third party developers off creating Twitter clients. He told the company's developer forum: "Developers ask us if they should build client apps that mimic or reproduce the mainstream Twitter consumer client experience. The answer is no."

But with rival photo sharing services having been around long before that announcement, any competing launch from Twitter itself is likely to leave the likes of Twitpic somewhat aggrieved.

Twitter says the reason for the crackdown is that it wants to give users a more consistent experience. Last week, the company announced that it had bought the leading third-party client Tweetdeck for a reported $40 million.
